It’s obvious that lots of us are guilty of interacting with fast fashion, (I definitely am) but mostly because it's easy access for us. Since becoming more aware of the impact, I have been trying to do my bit to recycle old clothes or give them to charity. Fast fashion is something that has always been happening and is hard to stop because it's so easy for brands and therefore more accessible for us.
Recently, I have come across a company called ‘Wear My Dress.com’, one of the UK's first peer to peer rental and sales platforms.

The Wear My Dress platform hosts a variety of clothing, accessories, shoes, bags ect. But also has a variety of categories including, wedding dress’ and children's 'preloved' sections so there is a section for everyone.

I think it's really important to recognise that helping the fashion industry by recycling old clothes, selling items so that someone else gets wear out of something you won't, or just doing your bit to help the environment is really impactful, even if you can't see it.
It is FREE to sign up to and very easy to use. Definitely have a browse, and each account gives customers access to post unlimited items for others to rent or buy!
As well as helping the environment, it is also perfect for helping people who don't want to spend loads of money on new outfits, or can't afford to, or even if you need something for a one time occasion, this is for you!
